Took me long enough to make this 8)

but anyway I was planning on making this translation long ago but due to some complications both personal and mental I had to post pone it for a while, but finally it's off my back for now, I do hope to make one or two translations a month specifically to finish this album this year and move on to other projects to translate as well or simply to write subtitles for :3

I'm quite proud of this translation and you might've already noticed how Steina's parts are nonexistence, well it's kind of a joke in the manual of the album to add her but simply not have her talk at all so I added them in since they cracked me up heh.

Jólahopp is a album featuring Stefán Karl made on 2003 and produced by Kynning, the album translates into “Christmas Jump” which is also the first song that Stefán Karl sang, as well as Ó Grýla which is a parody cover of Mañana (is soon enough for me), which the original Ó Grýla is sang by Ómar Ragnarsson

More about it on here: https://stefankarlfanblog.tumblr.com/...

“Smile” as sung by Stefán Karl Stefánsson, the original song was posted in 23rd of August 2018 as part of an interview of the show “Á svölunum” hosted by Eiríkur Guðmundsson and Eva María Jónsdóttir, only a 5 minute audio clip of it exists online and part of it was him singing this song by Nat King Cole who is one of his favourite singers, the original being from Charlie Chaplin who is Stefán’s idol.

Lyrics:
Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you
Light up your face with gladness
Hide ev'ry trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile
